Most of us have lost some of this basic range of motion, but the good news is that you can get it back.

    • Trust in the Happy Back Challenge!
      HAPPY Back Challenge is a huge step forward to recovery. I suffer chronic pain for 8 years and feel the difference finally: 15 minutes of 3 new exercises every day.

      Not boring. Accessible to all levels and challenging. Easy to follow, live classes or recordings. Lucas is a respectful, highly professional.

    • The Happy Back Challenge - Success for me
      The Happy Back Challenge was what I expected and more. Like the hip challenge, the back challenge gives you a great framework and ethic to build your own workouts once you're down with the challenge.

      That said, I will do more back challenges because Lucas also learns and adds workout.

    • I love Lucas' style of teaching
      I purchased the Happy Back Challenge and I'm loving it already. Lucas does an amazing job explaining the poses. The "why" behind what you're doing, and offers great modifications along the way.

      I love his style of teaching and how he encourages you to meet your body where its at. I can't wait to make my way through all of the back challenges and see the results of incorporating the stretching. I sit most of the day for my work so this is much needed!

      I am 51 years old and have had problems with my upper and lower back for years due to a career that involves a lot of sitting.

    • Finding the motivation
      I was extremely hesitant to join an online yoga class. I practiced Tae Kown Do for over 15 years and used to be extremely flexible and strong.

      I loved the pre-workout stretches. As my age continues to creep upward, it has been hard to find the energy to do even the basic kicks I used to do, which is extremely frustrating.

    • Got lifetime access to the challenges!
      I have taken Yogabody's 21-Day Happy Back Challenge a number of times and find each one to be an excellent way to get myself to do more stretching & strengthening. I especially appreciate Yogabody's philosophy of being science-based because then I can trust that all of the poses are safe and helpful.

      I also appreciate that once you take these challenges (a) you can repeat them at a fraction of the original cost, and (b) you have lifetime access to the challenges. However, I like to keep taking them anew each time they are given so that I don't miss out on Lucas' warm personality & self-deprecating humor.

    • Great instructor, awesome infrastructure.
      Lucas is possibly the best instructor I've worked with, his attitude is really inspiring. I came across his "21-day happy back challenge" through an Instagram ad; I'm often offered very crappy services there so I was skeptical, but his website looked solid and I decided to give it a shot.
      The course was intense but delightful and helped me start a back exercise routine—which I've been unsuccessfully trying to for years—by lowering the bar and instead, focusing on daily 15-minute routines. He explains every step of what he does and takes safety very seriously, always including modifications and telling you what should and shouldn't happen.

      The live session was really encouraging, not only because I could see other people were there with me, but also because of the thorough Q&A sessions where Lucas replied to every single person who asked questions.

      The price was absolutely fair, plus you get to keep the videos & PDF with all the poses so you can continue on your own. I'm on round 2 of the challenge and I can't recommend it enough. Looking forward to other courses :)

    • Living in a better body!
      I kept seeing Yogabody ads on Instagram and finally decided to purchase the hip opening challenge. Wow. I saw and felt results almost right away!

      I’ve since repeated the challenge and purchased the Happy Back challenge and the Science of Stretching. I feel like I’m living in a better body.

      I just completed the 21-Day Happy Back Challenge. It was great!

      I thought that it would be mostly stretching, but every day, Lucas walked us through one strengthening exercise, one balance pose, and one stretching pose. Highly recommend.

    • I have seen much improvement in my flexibility and run recovery
      As an aging runner, I’ve often heard from others that I should incorporate yoga for flexibility but I’ve always consider myself flexible enough and I never liked yoga classes (so boring). After a hamstring injury from being tight, I purchased the Back challenge and I LOVE the 15 minute segments I can work into my day.

      I have seen much improvement in my flexibility and run recovery. Thank you!

      Started a daily yoga practice this year and was finding it wasn't helping my back problems in any consistent way (though it was great for other things).

    • Happy Back 21 day challenge is great!
      I’m a mid-40s man who sits at a desk all day and has always had tight hips and niggling back pains - very low level.

      I had tried various YouTube videos on back exercises and stretches but never stuck with anything.
      I figured if I pay for the 21-Day Happy Back challenge it would encourage me to stick with it and I’m happy to say I’ve just completed 21 days!

      It’s 15 minutes a day and it’s 3 different exercises each day. The beauty of this program is that the last exercise involves you holding a position for 5 minutes so it feels like you’re not doing much. Which was a big factor in motivating me to do it every day as it didn’t feel like much of an effort. Except on the days Lucas has you doing crunches!

      I will be carrying on with this as I can feel my back loosening up and I’m becoming more flexible. And I’ll be signing up for the hip opener course next.

    • Exceptional!
      Lucas' knowledge and course delivery are exceptional, such that you are never just copying the poses done by the teacher.

      You learn what the underlying causes are, the interrelationship between the poses and the muscles in the body and all the modifications that may or may not be necessary. Provided you show up, the results are immediate.

    • I signed up for the 21 day happy back…
      I signed up for the 21 day happy back challenge to see if it would help with the lower back problems I've had and it worked wonders. I then signed up to the science of stretching program and again it worked wonders. My back, glutes, hamstrings, hip flexors and shoulders have not been to his bendy for years. Lucas provides practical guidance and videos and I particularly like the fact that he clearly says to avoid pain!

    • Great Daily Stretching Program!
      The clear directions/guidance and relative simplicity of the program make it great to practice every day. I’ve about 1 month into the program and have noticed considerable gains in my flexibility and range of motion, and more importantly, problem areas around my joints have significantly improved!

      I've spent so much on physiotherapy, chiropractors without results. Having these 15 min classes I can follow along with gives me the discipline to be consistent. It's really helping me. Am doing happy back challenge, up to day 17 - it's not a miracle cure, but is definitely making me feel a lot better

    • Very helpful for my lower back pains
      I have struggled with tight hips lower back for years. Following Lucas’ videos have helped tremendously! I enjoy especially the long hold stretches and the informational instruction. The way he trains the strength is also making it more acceptable, as I usually hate strength training. Lucas is very knowledgeable with the body. I really appreciate that he always has many options for all of the poses.

    • One of the best things I have done…
      One of the best things I have done recently. I came from a martial arts background, am now 51 and struggled putting my socks on in a morning. 4 weeks in and the changes are evident- feeling much better.     • Science of Stretching Course is worth every penny
      I purchased the Science of Stretching course and it has helped me reverse years of stiff muscles and joints caused by office work/sitting. The time commitment is minimal and the results 3 weeks in are tremendous. More range of motion, and less low back, shoulder, and hip pain. If you purchase this course I recommend you watch the modifications videos before you watch the actual videos for each day, you will likely need the modifications and they allow you to start slow and stay committed.

    • Lucas' approach is excellent!
      I have tried the "Happy Back challenge" and I like the approach Lucas has. The instructions are clearly explained. There are shown different modifications you can use based on your flexibility.

      There are available recordings so if you miss one lesson because of other duties you can do it in the evening or at your own pace. I see the potential and I do plan to repeat the whole exercise a few more times.

    • 21-Day Hip Opening Challenge cured my lower back pain
      I bought the "21-Day Hip Opening Challenge" a while ago because I had chronic lower back pain, probably resulting from tight hips (from working in front of the computer every day for several hours).

      I already completed the course once and saw amazing results after a short time. The back pain vanished after about a week of training and didn't return so far. I also made significant progress in terms of flexiblity.

      Lucas is a good teacher who explains everything very well. The videos are enjoyable and I rarely miss a stretching session.

      I would highly recommend the course.

    • In recent months I've been suffering a lot of lower back pain
      In recent months I've been suffering from a lot of lower back pain, especially at night while sleeping and first thing in the morning. The last 3 years of working from home and being less active probably not helping. After watching YouTube vids as well as various content served to me by the Social Media Algorithm engine something about the ads for YogaBody struck a cord, enough for me to signup and pay for the "science of stretching program." Even just a couple of days into the program I started to feel the benefits and a clear reduction in pain. Broken down into manageable 15 min chunks spread across the working week it's something that I am able to easily incorporate into my day and follow (at my own level of flexibility) and its clear now why my previous approaches to stretching had been less effective. Highly recommend this course.

    • 21 Day Happy Back Challenge...my back is happy!
      I am a 63 year old woman and just finished the 21 day Happy Back Challenge. I was skeptical at first since this just popped up on Facebook and you never know about ads that show up. But I have been having a lot of unexplained lower back pain for a couple years now, and even my chiropractor hasn't been able to help. I get regular chiropractic adjustments and we tried acupuncture and even cupping, and I sometimes got relief for a day or two but then the pain and stiffness all would come back. I was so frustrated and tired of it, and since this challenge was affordable for me I decided to give it a try. I'm so happy I did. I took my time working through the challenge, repeating some of the exercises, and I have to say, it has helped my back so much, I feel like I am 85% better, pain is less, flexibility is getting better, I can get up off the floor now without pain and getting stuck like before. Overall I am so much better. Thank you so much! Lucas is a great instructor, easy to follow and very clear, and thank you for the modifications, which I had to use on many poses. I will go through this challenge again on my own, and then looking forward to signing up for the Hip Opener Challenge next, and then the Science of Stretching! This will be a daily routine for me now for the rest of my life and I look forward to continued improvement.

      Love this program! I've searched a ton of mobility programs and absolutely loved the format of this one. Easy to follow, Lucas explains everything in detail and always gives mortifications if you are unable to do some of the movements. Helped me a ton and definitely has become a routine to watch the videos and get stretching in.

    • My best investment
      The Yogabody made me feel so refreshed after using it. My flexibility improved daily along with my balance. The videos are great and help tremendously. The best part about the yogabody is my migraines seemed to have disappeared along with my back pain. It really was my best investment this year.

    • YogaBody helps Spine Issue pain
      I'm 58 with spine issue. My mobility is cyclical so stretching is a must. I was looking for something to counter the tightness in my legs and hips to help my back. I'm so glad I stumbled onto YogaBody. The alternative poses have been a must for me and I like that they are presented at the very base level which provides opportunity to work up from rather than other programs that just gloss over alternatives. No further injuries for me. Oh, and the program is so helpful. I'm in ways less pain when I follow the program.

    • Lower Back Muscle spasms disappeared
      Within a couple of days of following the Yogabody stretching program, my back muscle spasms disappeared. Even with back pain, I was able to do the first level of stretches; I really appreciate that there are several levels to choose from.

      I am a person with back problems for a long time, so I decided to do the "Happy Back Challenge", I saw the results after the first few days, but in the last few days I improved a lot. It is also very adaptable to the level of each person, with explanations and alternatives for each posture. I would recommend these videos to anyone with back pain. Without a doubt now my back is happier!

      A couple of months ago I purchased the 21-Day Happy Back Challenge -- I couldn't recommend this program more.

      Lucas is thorough, clear, and kind in his approach to teaching. And beyond feeling more whole and sound physically, I come away with a much better understanding of how my body works and, as a result, am better positioned to take care of it in the long run. This program delivers on its promises to promote physical wellbeing and are all in all enjoyable and edifying. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

      *For context: I'm a PhD student in dissertation phase and researching and writing means I have to do a lot of sitting -- these programs helpfully offset the negative impact of that!

    • I've purchase 100s and 100s of online…
      I've purchase 100s and 100s of online courses/products over the years. Most digital courses are created by "wannabe" instructors that have never had enough practice and experience to become a real instructor. This is not the case with Lucas' hip flexibility course. He is clearly extremely knowledgeable on the topic. I've really enjoyed going through it, and have seen GREAT results. Much much less lower back pain, which I can directly attribute to Lucas' course. Highly recommended.

    • This will reduce older folks back pain, etc.!
      The stretch series is a lot harder than it seems. Still, at 60, my lower back pain has lessened by 50%. And, I'm not doing it one day after another, taking it slower and on second week only. I do yoga regularly, but there's something about holding stretches. Lucas is a very very good instructor with a calm, knowledgeable approach that is NOT in the least annoying or blustery or irritatingly chipper. I highly recommend it. Plus, this is the first e-workout series I've subscribed to. I did because his ads on Facebook are genuine and convincing.

    • Valuable and high quality
      Lucas is a great teacher and I appreciate all the research he has done. He moves into the stretches briskly without a long preamble which I appreciate but provides ample instruction and modifications. Super professional, Lucas provides insight into what tissues/joint are involved in the stretch and why we need to work the area. I will definitely take more courses from Yoga Body.

      Lucas has a lovely voice - and he speaks sense.
      My back backwards flexibility is improving. I wouldn't be doing the back work so regularly if I weren't doing the Happy Back Course. And there's no way I could stay in a stretch for 5 minutes unless there was someone talking me through it!

    • Simply the best!
      After suffering with a jammed up lower back for over a year, within a few days of starting the Happy Back challenge I could bend forward fully again with relative ease. It felt like a miracle! I finished the program and started it again it was so good. I'm currently working through the Hip Opening and Breathing programs as well. All classes are amazing, easy to follow and don't require a great deal of time each day to see a real improvement. Thanks Lucas!

      Still learning but abs felt it after just one workout. Hanging upside down really helps my back.

      Everything I have purchased from YB has been great. My body’s movement is much easier through yoga. The intense stretching has led to a massive injury reduction. I look forward to more classes in the future.

    • I’m loving the happy back challenge…
      I’m loving the happy back challenge program. I injured my back a few months ago and needed something that was easy to follow. I’ve seen real improvements in my lower back using the happy back challenge. I haven’t been perfect with it but now that I’m doing it 4 times a week, I can feel a difference. The program is helping me move to strength training as well. The breathing part really helped my body relax and go deeper.

    • Do try the happy back program to recondition imbalances and aches
      I took on the Happy back challenge and Stretching science course after experiencing aches and pains in my lower back and hip area.

      After following it for a few weeks I have not experienced any pain again and enjoy adding it to my daily routine. I realised also quite how stiff I am.
